For softening of ear wax. Can be used alone or prior to ear syringing.
Directions of use: 5 drops to be instilled with the head inclined, preferably when lying down. This may cause a harmless tingling sensation. Should the Cerumol tend to run out when the head is held up, a small plug of cotton wool moistened with Cerumol or smeared with petroleum jelly may be applied. Repeated as above twice a day, or up to three days. Unless the ear wax is unusually hard, it should run out of its own accord. If not, consult your doctor for possible syringing. Not to be used when there is inflammation of the ear or if the eardrum is perforated. The ear is a delicate organ. You are adviced to consult your doctor in all cases of ear disorder before using any ear drops.
